전자간 골절 / Intertrochanteric fracture

정의

Intertrochanteric fracture는 greater trochanter와 lesser trochanter 사이에서 발생하는 proximal femur의 extracapsular fracture이다.

임상 핵심

Hip fracture 중 trochanter 사이 골절이면 표준 표현은 intertrochanteric fracture이다. 임상 현장에서는 IT fracture, ITP fracture, intertrochanteric portion fracture로 줄여 부르는 경우가 있다. Chart나 영상 판독에는 약어보다 intertrochanteric fracture라고 쓰는 것이 가장 명확하다. Femoral neck fracture와 달리 관절낭 밖 extracapsular 병변이다.

진단

영상에서 골절선이 greater trochanter와 lesser trochanter 사이에 위치하는지 확인한다. 해부학적 위치가 femoral neck인지, intertrochanteric region인지, subtrochanteric region인지 구분하는 것이 명명에 중요하다.

치료
